Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma's

Easter Pics

Easter Morning

Coloring Easter Eggs

The day before Easter we wanted to take the kids to an egg hunt, but all the city ones were at 10:00 and we were scheduled to clean the church at 9:30. Thankfully it was the week after conference and the building was hardly used, so we were out of there a quarter after 10. We'd missed the city hunts, so we went to Sam's club so I could get my tires rotated and the kids did the egg hunt there. Tyler came back with only one golden egg. I told him there was candy inside. He sadly said he'd already looked and there was only a piece of paper. I opened it up and it was a free year membership. He'd found the grand prize egg. People kept walking by saying, "Ohhh, he found the golden egg." We didn't even know there was a golden egg. It took a long time to get my tires done, so they got to do a couple of egg hunts and got a ton of candy and treats.

My Cuties!

I'm a proud mama, what can I say?

The kids call this Sofie's Miss Muffet hat

Tyler and his cousin Seth just finished their Jr. Jazz basketball season. Tyler did great and really improved through the season.

She can fall asleep anywhere

I didn't realize I'd buried her in the cart. I was just shopping and throwing things in, and then I hear, "Mom, I can't move." This is what I saw when I looked.

SLEDDING!

We have had an unusually mild winter. We've been waiting for a good storm so we could hit the sledding hill. Finally, in March, we got one. My sister, Mandy, took Sofie, and I took her older kids, Ally and Seth with us. The kids had a blast and were out there a good two hours. Elsie really surprised me and had no fear. I asked if she wanted me to go with her on her first run down the hill. Nope! She hopped right onto her tube and down she went. She even went over the jump a few times. She'd get off and hike her and her tube back up the hill every time by herself.
